For the past several weeks, the IA has been studying Westward Expansion and the pioneers of the middle 1800’s. To supplement our learning, we have planned two field trips that can help us deepen our understanding of what life was like for these people.
Who: Per’s, Bryan’s, and Kristie’s advising will be going on two field trips the second week of November.
When: Monday, November 7th, from 10:30 to 2:30, The History Colorado Center
Where: The History Colorado Center is located at 1200 Broadway in Denver’s Golden Triangle Museum District and Civic Center Cultural Complex.
When: Wednesday, November 9th, from 9:00 to 1:30, Four Mile Historic Park (outdoor venue)
Where: Four Mile Historic Park, 715 S. Forest St. Denver, CO 80246
How: School vehicles and parent volunteer transportation for both trips.
What to bring: Lunch, water, comfortable shoes for both. Four Mile needs may include: hat, sunscreen, layered clothing depending on the weather (we will be outdoors).
